Creative Success for King’s PhD Student
Congratulations to Sinuhé Perea-Puente from the Department of Physics at King’s College London for winning a prize in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences research competition.
The event is usually held in person, but as some students are still working remotely the competition was held online for the second year.
Sinuhé won in a new prize category, ‘creativity’ and it’s clear to see why!
The judges praised Sinuhé for his innovative way of explaining ‘An heuristic approach to i-numbers in Near Field Electromagnetism: from polarisation-loss control to bullseye passive metasurfaces’
Sinuhé is supervised by Dr Francisco Rodríguez-Fortuño in the Novel Nanophotonic Phenomena Group at King’s.
